Last fall, I had Merchant Lynx Services install a Point of Service Station in my Bistro. It has worked great and is super easy for my employees to use. My money from my merchant account is deposited next day, including American Express. Dear Merchant Lynx Services: I usually do not write letters like this, but I felt a need to express to your company how HAPPY I am with you company. You said you were going to cut a third off of my fees and you actually did. Evan sent this complaint to me because we have been working with the merchant in this office. However he had posted this complaint prior to speaking with this department. Nicole, one of our managers has resolved all of his issues. She also reached out to the merchant once we received this complaint just to ensure that there were no outstanding issues. Merchant Lynx pushed us hard to use EMV chip reader. EMV chip reader costs $149 to buy online. But Merchant Lynx leases it to us and charge $32 per month for three years. They say the charge is for protection. They also told us that it protects us from banks' automatic charge backs. I wonder if this is the same to all businesses who use its service to lease the machine from Merchant Lynx/First Data and get the same charge and wonder if it... Read more

Their rating with the BBB is an "F." It is a "D" with CPO. I wish I had checked on this before signing with them. All their promises of "NO FEES" is patently false. More fees than any other company I have dealt with. I used the Waltham, MA office and my account exec was Karen Druziako. First month: I was charged a $99.00 application fee, a $10.00 signature fee, a $30.00 minimum balance fee (before I even got the terminal!) etc... MONTHLY:... Read more

I am in charge of the finance of the company. Our business account got hit by fees, charged by Merchant Lynx. I cannot reconcile them and some of the fees are no listed in out contract. Some of the fees were double charged. I want to know we were are paying for outside the contract. The worse thing is I cannot find anyone at Merchant Lynx to speak with. At first glance talking to the sales rep it seemed like a good company. Little did I know what was in store. They signed us up and did not provide a credit card processing unit. Have been in touch with them multiple times about closing the account and getting all money refunded as it was impossible for us to process from them. Customer service is a giant waste of time.
